123 PDF Editor (the “Software”, “App”, “Extension” or “Service”) and the website at pdfeditor.it (the “Website”) are operated by Globosoft. This Privacy Policy applies to the 123 PDF Editor browser extension, the 123 PDF Editor Android app and the Website.
123 PDF Editor is designed to process PDF documents locally on your device. PDF files you open, edit, annotate, sign, organise, compress or process with OCR are not uploaded to our servers as part of the document-editing process.
Local OCR language data and PDF-processing components are included with the Software and operate on your device. OCR results and edited document content remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export, save or share a file.
The Software may access files only when you choose them through the browser or operating-system file picker, or when you explicitly open a supported file with the Android app.
On Android, generated PDF files may be saved to a folder such as Downloads/123 PDF Editor. These files remain on your device and are under your control.
We do not receive copies of your opened PDFs, edited PDFs, images, signatures, OCR text or other document content.
The Android app may allow you to share a PDF through the Android system share menu or directly with compatible apps such as email, messaging or cloud-storage applications. A file is shared only when you explicitly choose a sharing action.
Once you share a file with a third-party application, that application's own privacy policy and data-handling practices apply. We do not control how third-party applications process files that you choose to share with them.

If you purchase or activate a PRO licence, information required to process the transaction or validate the licence may be handled by our authorised payment provider, reseller or licensing systems. Payment-card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by the PDF editor itself.
Purchases may be completed through external websites or third-party payment services. Their own privacy policies apply to information you provide to them.
The Android app may use operating-system capabilities necessary to provide its features, including access to files you explicitly select, saving generated files, opening external web pages and sharing files with other apps.
The app does not request access to your documents for unrelated purposes. Access to a PDF or image is initiated by you when you select or open that file.
Core PDF editing and local OCR are designed to work locally. Internet access may be used when you choose to open an external page, such as a purchase, support, tutorial or product page, or when an online service is explicitly requested by you.
Opening an external website or third-party service is subject to that service's own privacy policy.
The Website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and improve our pages. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may process information such as browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited and interaction data.
This website analytics activity applies to the Website and is separate from the local processing of your PDF documents in the Software.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google may process analytics information according to its own privacy policies.
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, message, licence information and any files or screenshots you intentionally attach.
Please do not send confidential documents unless they are necessary for your support request. Information sent to support is used to respond to your request and to improve the Software.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your PDF documents or document content, and we do not use the content of your locally processed PDFs for advertising.
Because document processing is local, we do not retain copies of the PDFs you edit through the Software. Files saved on your device remain there until you delete them.
Information submitted through support, purchasing or licensing systems may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, administer licences, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud and maintain business records.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information handled by our systems. However, no electronic system or method of transmission is completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents.
123 PDF Editor is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the local document-editing functionality.
The Software may include third-party or open-source components used for PDF rendering, PDF manipulation, OCR and related functions. These components run as part of the Software and may be subject to their own licences.
